Coal and Other Projects

In addition to the precious metals industry, we have engineered and delivered several other mineral processing and laboratory projects.

MEZH_11

Mezhdurechensk Coal Plant in Kuzbass, Russia

This was Intertech’s largest project – a fully automated 450 ton-per-hour (over 3 million tons per year) coal plant capable of processing 5 different coals from regular thermal to high-value coking coal. Plant incorporated heavy media separation, flotation, hypobaric filtration in-flow analysis, etc. It is still the most automated and technologically advanced colliery in the entire CIS. In a typical day, the plant produces $800,000 – 1.2 million value of coal and coal concentrates.
